NMIs wishing to submit samples for evaluation should contact the BIPM in advance, complete a questionnaire and take note of the important information for participants in the SIR. Attention must be paid to the administrative procedure [ADM.DOU.P-03] for sending the ampoule to the BIPM, and a completed shipping form [ADM.DOU.F-12] must be sent in advance.
The BIPM needs to receive a confirmation of your authorization to export radioactive materials to us. Please could you send us that confirmation in the form of a letter such as the example given here.
Results should be submitted using the SIR reporting form for liquid samples or for gas samples.
