The Guidelines for CIPM key comparisons given here, dated 1 March 1999, replace the previous version of the Guidelines, dated 15 May 1998. This revised version takes into account various comments received from members of Consultative Committees, and the discussions at the meeting of the CIPM in September 1998, the key comparison discussion meeting held in Sèvres in January 1999 and the meeting of the JCRB held at the BIPM in February 1999.
Additionally, the CIPM approved in October 2003 a modification to section 12 regarding the organization of supplementary comparisons, and in December 2003 the BIPM clarified section 11 on the publication of comparison results.
